San Patrignano supperclub

Back at Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen in Old Street for a San Patrignano UK supperclub, this time with Danny who is raising money through the supperclubs for their participation in San Patrignano’s WeFree event this year read more about here.   Danny is taking a group of Fifteen graduats to cook at Wefree this year. “WeFree” is an international project that brings together NGOs, national
and international bodies and private citizens across the globe with a
common idea: the world we want is possible.
At dinner I learnt more about San Patrignano. Some of the kids who were at San Patrignano scheme and who had its help to move to the UK from San Patrignano were in attendance, cooking and some of the current Italian residents from San Patrignano  including Massimo Parmigiani  who looks after all of the minors at San Pat near Rimini in Italy.  A couple of  parents of current residents were in attendance too. It was a bit emotional to hear their stories and it got more emotional when Danny show us this film explaining in detail about the meaning and the charitable work of San Pat : High on Food

I did not know San Patrignano was expanding in the UK. It's an institution in Italy… but has had its fair share of press. How much was the supper club, our of curiosity since it was for charity? Always keen to compare!

Hi Fede, This particular night the dinner was for friends, ex-residents of San Pat(who cooked the meal), a handful of current Italian residents of San Pat and some of the British parents of current residents, who where not in attendence as they are in the program. I have updated the disclosure. I am not sure how much the supperclubs are, but you can find out by contacting Danny. they work very hard to keep the high profile and having JO umbrella supporting the case surely helps a LOT!
