A stylist stay at London Bridge Hotel

London Bridge Hotel

Situated in one of the most historic and popular areas in London, the London Bridge Hotel takes pride in having a premium location. The hotel is a stone’s throw away from almost every attraction that is significant in the bustling business district. It is within short walking distances from the London Bridge City Pier for Thames Clipper Ferries, the London Bridge Rail and Underground Stations. If you want to see the London Bridge, this is also the perfect accommodation of choice as it is very near this popular landmark as well. It is just on the opposite side of the bridge, providing you with the beauty to revel in its beauty any time of the day. London Bridge Hotel is an independent 4-star boutique hotel at the heart of the London Bridge Quarter

London Bridge Hotel Lounge

While the hotel is known for the luxury and comfort that it can offer to its guests, it has also gained reputation because of its vibrant historical past. Different Roman artefact and remains were discovered during the time the hotel was constructed, most of which can now be found on display at the Museum of London. When it was constructed in 1916, a lot of important remains have been unearthed from the ground. Originally, the site was where you can find the St. Thomas Chapel, which dates back to as early as the 12th century. In the 1940s, the hotel
functioned as wartime telephone exchange.

Apart from the fascinating history of the London Bridge Hotel, its popularity can also be attributed to how it provides you with accommodation where you can be at the centre of everything. It is in the area of Southwark, which is reflective of a thriving district that is soon to be a depiction of urban growth.

my double room: comfortable and well appointed with free wi-fi, good working hairdryer
lots of choice in room service menu
lovely bathroom with The White Company toiletries.

Southwark is also a historical area, which will give you the opportunity to learn a lot of new things by simply walking around and observing. Another thing that makes the location a plus for the London Bridge Hotel is the beginning of a regeneration project, which features a bus station that will make it easier for you to get around London. Other features of this project include landscaped piazzas, social centre, and retail shops. This project is going to be built at the base of The Shard Project, a true European architectural feature as it is a vertical city and asserted to be the tallest building in the Western European region. With museums and art galleries and local attractions such as London Dungeon, The Globe, Clink Prison and Old Operation Theatre, you will be able to find sites that are more than 400 years old, which make it ideal for any history buff.

Quarter Bar and Lounge

The hotel offers the perfect blend of traditional and contemporary elegance, which will provide you with the perfect abode for relaxation. The Quarter Bar offers delicious bar food as well as well crafted cocktails.  They also serve an afternoon tea (£35/pp), which I am yet to try it. With world-class facilities and warm hospitality, it is sure to provide you with a memorable experience when in London.
