Afternoon Tea at The Intercontinental Westminster

NO LONGER INTERCONTINENTAL –
It’s been a while since I went out for a proper English afternoon tea and since I hadn’t been to the new, well it’s now five months old, Intercontimental Westminster, I decided to go there for my long waited afternoon tea treat. Located right in the heart of Westminster London, this branch part of Intercontinental hotel  group is housed in a historic 19th century building which was been sumptuously renovated . The Intercontinental hotel group is renowned for it’s elegance and glamour and as such Intercontinental Westminster doesn’t disappoint. The service was as usual impeccable and attentive. Tea was served in the beautiful lounge bar, we were politely greeted by our  knowledgeable host. It was nice to meet Ryan Thompson, genius pastry chef, who came to meet greet us at our table. Ryan’s creations were amazing and delicious.
