Drifting along the Regent’s canal with Qcumber

Qcumber spritz

Cruising along the historic Regents Canal, from Paddington through Regents Park and the Maida Hill Tunnel then from Little Venice to Camden Lock Market was an excellent Summers evening adventure in London. A very remarkable opportunity to travel on a  barge filled with lovely Qcumber and friendly crew!

The venue

Qcumber spritz
The Electric Barge is plain and simple, quite spacious but unique and original. The Electric Barge, which is a floating classroom, when it’s not being used as an occasional events venue. They deliver fun, hands-on learning activities inspired by the rich ecology and heritage of the waterways for school children from across London. All earnings from the hire of the Electric Barge goes back into support these all-too-rare changes for children living in the city to discover and explore the natural world
at first hand.

The Trip

There is so much to see along the way from exquisite houses along the canal,
a glimpse of the London Zoo to the magnificent site of the Feng Shang
Princess, a floating Chinese Restaurant London Primrose Hill. It’s a
very calming and serene trip that lasted about one and half hours one way.

So I hear you ask, what is Qcumber? It’s a very refreshing premium sparkling non-alcoholic
cucumber drink.  A versatile drink, exceptional on its own but also
pairs very well as a mixer for gin, vodka and Pimms!  Once we were
onboard, we sipped some delicious concoctions and learned to make some
drinks with Qcumber inspired by British literature classics.
